Jen Sayers

Key Worker

Jen is an Early Intervention Teacher and Key worker at Progressive Connections. She has been working with children and families for over 19 years in a variety of roles. She is very passionate about working with and providing quality early intervention services with children, families, and caregivers to achieve their intervention goals.

Jen’s role is to work one on one with the families to support interactions to promote and develop the child’s skills, routines and increase their independence. Jen does this through visits in the home, at childcare centres, schools or in clinic.

Jen’s previous roles have provided her with the opportunities to work with families, early childhood educators, inclusion support workers, primary school teachers, and other specialists such as Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists and Physiotherapists.

Jen’s formal qualifications gained at The University of Cambridge, England:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies.
  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Early Years Professional Status.
  • Diploma in Early Years Childcare & Education.
